Vivotek is also the first to release an 8 port H.264 stand alone rack mountable video encoder with audio.  This encoder will support 30 fps at D1 resolution, two way audio, PTZ and has a built in Sd/SDHC card slot for recording.

The D7-180 from Scallop Imaging is a revolution in IP camera technology.  The Scallop D7-180 provides a seamless 180 degree panoramic view of any scene indoor or out.  Gone are the days of the warped fisheye lens or the unsightly “stitched” images from other manufacturers.

The Scallop’s HD Digital Window technology is made up of five (5) 1.3MP cameras which are seamlessly integrated together to create a panoramic view or simultaneously split apart to view independent zones in detail.  I saw this camera at ISC West this year and I have to say it was breathtaking.  These images were not only clear from far but had enough pixels to make the digital zoom functionality actually useful!
